Dames A - EuroHockey Nations Trophy Women 2009 Rome
Fin juillet, nos Dames A ont gagné la MÉDAILLE D’OR au EuroHockey Nations Trophy 2009 (Championnat d’Europe B) à Rome. Ceci leur vaut de remonter dans le groupe A, condition sine qua non pour la poursuite de la professionnalisation de l’équipe nationale Dames et son soutien par le COIB en vue d’une qualification pour les Jeux Olympiques de Londres.
Prochaine échéance dans l’évolution positive des Belgian Panthers : un World Cup Qualifier en mars/avril 2010.

11 juillet: Murray Richards: "We dominated today's game, but still there were periods of
lost control. Very rough play of Scotland,
with Caroline Himpe deliberately hit by a Scottish player -
no action taken by umpires, so the game became at times
quite dangerous - wich was disapointing
1 stroke (Gierts S.) & 1 FG (Vouche M.)
Solid performance under difficult conditions.

12 juillet: Murray Richards: "Much more control of the match today, but unable to finish
our chances. Again the Scottish played very tough hockey,
but our structure held firm, and thanks to some miraculous
work by Lola Danhaive (saved goal on the line) we were
able to get away with the win. I am very pleases that the
girls were able take the series 3-0 against a team of the
A division, and without Raes A. or Coppey E. - which
meant our midfield was forced to play almost 70 minutes/
match.
